We have been hooked on this recipe for the most delicious, mouthwatering banana cake you’ll ever taste! And the best part about it? It’s VEGAN! Yay! You can indulge without feeling like you are eating unhealthy 🍌
So grab your ripe bananas and let’s bake!
What you’re going to need:
2 Cups of Flour ( We use King Arthur cake flour)
1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda
1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of oil
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup of water
1 teaspoon of vanilla
optional: chocolate chips for sprinkling
LETS GET BAKING
PREHEAT - your oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking pan
In a small bowl, combine your flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate large bowl, whisk together the sugar and oil, then add bananas. Add water, and vanilla, stirring to combine.
Add the flour mixture, stirring just until wet.
Add chocolate chips to top if you want that extra sweetness!
Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
