How to Keep Your COOL.

Hey everyone! Hope your week is going well!

Are you feeling in a schlump ? Like you don’t know what to do with yourself? Is your anxiety at a high? Well we are here to help you Keep your vibes high and keep stress at a minimum, practice self love! And Be nice to you!

 

 

During this time of madness in the world, we need to practice loving our self. We need to turn all our fear based thoughts into positive thoughts. We need to not be so hard on ourselves. We need to breathe and let it all go.
How can we do this you ask? We have just the tips to share with you!

 

GIVE YOURSELF A HUG


We can hug ourselves daily! Say to yourself,  everything will be okay....(go ahead and try it) .... there , now don’t you already feel better ?? The warmth of a hug and words of encouragement especially to yourself is always a great way to combat stress.

 

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS 


Now, we are going to use a few affirmations. Say these affirmations daily to help get you work through anxiety and help you have a more fulfilled and prosperous life.  What is an affirmation you ask?  Well,

    the action or process of affirming something or being affirmed.
    2.emotional support or encouragement.

So let’s make up a few affirmations...... I feel great!! Ok your turn say it in your mind several times!!! ...I feel wonderful. Everything around me is happening in my favor. I feel peaceful. I am at a total sense of calm. I feel great.  Now do you feel better? Repeat these affirmations and ones that you create daily, we promise it works ! We do affirmations on a daily which helps our life tremendously, and when I mean tremendously, I mean it. Try it today!

 

BE NICE TO YOURSELF 


When you talk to yourself in your mind, with the constant state of wonder, fear, anxiety - whatever may be going on , be nice to yourself and let’s reverse that negativity. You wouldn’t talk to a small child like this , so why are you talking to yourself that way. Your body and mind are receptive to the way you think, and speak to yourself. Practice kindness to yourself, be gentle with yourself. There is no reason for stress or strain. Just relax and let your thoughts be at ease. Be nice to yourself , that will change your entire body , mind, and outlook. 

 

 WRITE YOURSELF A LETTER 


I know this may sound cheesy , but In reality we all need a little self reassurance and oomf to get us going.

Dear (self), I know you are going through a lot right now , I know this time may be so anxious for you, but just know - you are doing amazing. You are doing the best you can , and I am so proud of you. Don’t worry, everything will be okay. You got this. Everything you are doing is preparing yourself for wellness and happiness. Prosperity is coming your way. You are an incredible human being. I love and accept you. Hold on little one, you got it. 

Love always - me. 

Writing a letter to yourself is one of the many ways we can create a safe space for our minds. It’s just a little form of reassurance for us to keep our brains in a calm state. Try it today! You can write about anything , watch what happens. 

 

SCREAM!


(into a pillow or in your car of course ;) haha )

Screaming and letting go of the physical frustrations of life can be so freeing. Notice how much we hold on, there is so much tension in our bodies that sometimes we need to let it go! Now after we let it go physically, let it go mentally. Watch the mental patterns in your mind change after letting go of all of that negativity. Scream it out , let it go. You are wonderful. 

 

MEDITATE

 

This is one of our favorite ways of self love and self care. Instead of snoozing your alarm for a few minutes , take those few To mediate. Sit or lay quietly and breathe in, and hold—- then release. As you do this, let everything go, all tension, all thoughts , all feelings. Create that calm. There is no reason to stress your mind during this time, relax and let go. This will set you up for the rest of your day. We promise you you’ll feel the difference.
